This article was originally published in February 2015 but was recently updated and brought back to the light to be remind the general public about Chiropractic. Chiropractic is the first line of care you should seek for any musculoskeletal pain you may be experiencing. Chiropractors deal with every joint in the body, not just the spine is important to remember! We help feet, ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and even jaw pain!

"The most positive research on chiropractic therapy has focused on spinal manipulation for low back pain. As one of the alternatives to pain-relieving drugs, the American College of Physicians low back pain guideline recommends spinal manipulation along with heat, massage and acupuncture."

What is an adjustment or manipulation? It is when the practitioner adds pressure into the joint that increases the motion of the joint. This is when you might hear an audible "pop" or "crack" which is totally normal but not always heard for the adjustment to take place.
